Jim Sounds like the shape did the trick. It is still unusual that the cline is giving you a DRC error. It is plausible that your plane is not complete, What I mean is that it is not completely tied to say a ground net or part of your plane is actually floating. My thinking based on your picture is that the plane has a break in it (Floating) hence the DRC Error with the cline. Do a quick check on the plane to make sure that it does indeed tie in to any nets associated with it. It really should work with the cline and not just the shape. Thanks Paul.![]()
