Hi Folks, I'm new to sigrity power dc tool. Inductor has DCR 42 mOhm and current flowing through the PDN is 2.2 Amps. So the voltage drop across the inductor is 92.4mV. It is very high IR drop in my entire core power plane. IR drop is getting fail in 20mv margin. I don't have other option to improve the power plane. Just want to know this IR drop will be ignored by removing DCR value or else I should concentrate on power plane improvement. If some one share complete tutorial for voltage drop analysis setup (VRM, Sinks, Discrete, V/I probe) would be great helpful for me. Kind Regards, RajaImage may be NSFW.
