wordpad's executable is "write.exe". So, shell("write.exe") will open wordpad.(Kudos go to Dave Elder, he made me aware of this years ago.) I think I am going to try axlUIEditFile(). It currently opens in wordpad and blocks the Allegro GUI. --Jerry![]()
