How to Hide Hierarchical Ports for Isolated Power Rails

Hi folks, OrCAD Capture 16.6 I am creating a design with multiple identical circuits so I have elected to use hierarchical blocks. Each h-block instance contains common power and ground inputs. In addition, each h-block contains internal power and ground rails that must be isolated from other h-block instances. If I use normal power and ground symbols for these isolated nets, they become global among all blocks, which is not what I want. After some searching, I learned that, to force a power or ground port to be local to the h-block instance, you must connect that port to an h-port pin in the h-block definition. That does work but, when I sync-up the blocks in the parent design, these pins appear in the parent block symbols, which is confusing because I never want to connect these. Yes, I can use a no-connect but its ugly. I can also delete the unwanted pins in the parent blocks but that is also unsatisfactory because anybody later could sync-up these blocks causing the unwanted pins to re-appear. Is there a way to make these hidden so they never appear in subsequent sync-ups? I wish there was a way to apply a non-global property to a power/ground symbol to save all this hassle. Thanks in advance, Allan
