Hi David, I recently filed a CCR, 1848075, asking for this restriction to be removed. There's no good reason for it (other than I think somebody thought that running OCEAN scripts would always be non-graphical). I did an experiment where I tried modifying the code so that it was possible, and all worked well. However, the fix is not currently planned - it's backlogged for consideration in a future planning phase. So right now you can't get the simvision UI to appear when running from an OCEAN script.
