We (Cadence) support SVG generation from ViVA graphs, but not from schematic or layout. There is an enhancement request (in fact there are several) asking for this. There are some challenges doing this because of some raster-based optimisation in the drawing engines, but it's worth filing another request since this is increasingly important since the dropping of EPS support in Microsoft Office.
